General Information

Out-of-state anglers may purchase a 3-day Saltwater Charter Passenger License for $20 (required for ages 18 and older).
Non-resident duck hunters are required to obtain a 5-day non-resident hunting license ($65), a 5-day non-resident waterfowl permit, and a Federal Duck Stamp ($27).
Duck Hunting – What to Bring: 12- or 20-gauge shotgun with appropriate ammunition, knee boots, and camouflage clothing including a hat.
Fishing – What to Bring: Sunglasses, hat, soft-soled shoes, as well as snacks and beverages.
Duck hunts depart from Chalmette, Louisiana, approximately 30 minutes from New Orleans.
Fishing charters depart from Leeville, Louisiana, approximately 2 hours south of New Orleans.
